The Robert F. Vose gallery is located in the barn attached to his home in Searsport. An artist all his life, Mr. Vose had several shows in Newburyport Massachusetts before moving to Maine in the late 1970s. Now retired and working full time at his art, his work is found in collections throughout the United States and Canada.
Soft, gentle pastels, greys and browns are Robert's choice of colors for his realistic landscapes and still life.
Robert normally has between 40 and 50 of his works on display in his gallery.
Robert's eye for beauty and love of nature are reflected in the simple farms, out buildings, woodlands and water scenes making up the majority of his work. Robert often does special requests.
How to find Robert Vose: Located on Route 1 east of Searsport center. The gallery is on the right side of the road as you head east toward Bucksport.
